Upcoming craft show!

I will be attending my first craft show as a crafter this weekend, tehe!  I am fairly new to crocheting but love it.  I was a bit of a procrastinator so I don't have much to sell.  I have been working on dish- cloths for the past couple of weeks so I have a little something to sell.  I have made many things since I started crocheting last year around this time but they are not things I would be comfortable selling.

I do love the dishcloths I have made for this show though.  These are the sets I have made so far :

Most of them are sets of two.  I had hoped to makes sets of 3 or 4 but didn't give myself enough time to do that, sigh!  I still haven't decided how much to sell them for.  I should probably check Etsy to see what people sell them for on there.  I would like to at least get back what I paid in yarn for them and a little for the labor, fun labor!  I really do enjoy crocheting, very relaxing.  Well except when the yarn comes out tangled, that can be frustrating for sure.

I may actually pick up a little more yarn and try to make some more before Saturday.  I will probably actually make some while at the craft show too.  The pattern I used for the red dishcloths is so simple and comes together quickly.  I got that pattern from this site: Click here to check it out.  I actually used two of the patterns from that site.  The crunchy stitch and the textured stitch.  The other site I used for the dishcloths was this one:  Click here.  The one I used from that site is called the Gentle Ridges Stitch/pattern.

The patterns I got from the two sites above were much more simpler than those I got out of the books I was using.  Yeah, I am new to using patterns.  I usually free style it when I am crocheting but I have found that patterns aren't too hard to follow.  The book I used for some of the dishcloths is called "Dishcloths, Featuring a Pot Scrubber: Too!"  It is important and helpful to know abbreviations too for crocheting.  I found this link helped me a lot with abbreviations.  I wish I had continued with crocheting when I was growing up but oh well.  I would have been a pro by now if I had stuck with it.  I'm not to shabby now though.  I have pictures of other things I have made on my YouTube channel.  You can check that out by clicking here.

Thanks again for stopping by.  If you like to crochet, Happy Hooking to you!

Happy Hooker,
Heather
